Margaret E. Read, Staff Accountant, began her fulltime career with T&A in September of 2018. Magie is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, where she received a bachelor’s of fine arts. A Jill-of-all-trades, Magie has worked as a legal administrative assistant, retail manager, book keeper, tax preparer, treasurer, and steel worker. Outside of work she is a doting mother and wife, as well as an effective and devoted civil servant. Aside from her own candidacies she has worked with numerous local and federal campaigns, volunteered with local activism groups, and has served as treasurer for not only the Wm. H. Harrison Band Boosters, but our local ACLU chapter. In her seldom free moments Magie exercises her incredible talents for botany, knitting, art and jewelry making, or brightening her daughter’s day.
